DNR & USFW

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife (USFW) have a considerable amount of land in the Town of Oakfield, most of which is open to hunting and hiking.  There are 1431 acres of Federal Land and 1820 of State Land in the town.  Many of the areas are classified as Wildlife Production Areas.  All are well signed and boundary lines are marked.  Most areas also have a small gravel parking lot.  Many of the areas have ponds that have been constructed for wildlife use and production.  Some of the ponds have water year round while others may dry up in the summer.  For further information to to:
