NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in Oak Center, a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2021 Budget of the Town of Oakfield will be held. The Proposed 2021 Budget Summary is included with this notice. A detailed proposed budget is available for inspection by contacting the Town Clerk at 920.517.6727
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, November 16, 2020, immediately following the completion of the public budget hearing, a Special Town Meeting of the Electors, called pursuant to Sec. 60.12 (1)(b) of the Wis. Statutes by the Town Board, will be held for the following purposes:
- To adopt the 2020 Town tax levy to be paid in 2021 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wis. Statutes.
- To set compensation for elected town officials to be elected on April 6, 2021 and to hold the term of office from April 20, 2021 for two years pursuant to Sec. 60.32 of Wis. Statutes.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Monday, November 16, 2020 immediately following the special town meeting, a Town Board Meeting will be held for the Board to adopt the Year 2021 Budget of the Town of Oakfield.
