PLAN COMMISSION HEARINGS and
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
March 18, 2024, 6:30 p.m., Town Hall in Oak Center
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at N3349 Oak Center Road, the Town Hall in Oak Center, the Town of Oakfield Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing for the consideration of rezoning parcel T15-14-16-28-06-008-01 out of Farmland Preservation District and into General Agricultural District. The purpose of this rezoning is to correct the Town’s Zoning map, and for it to be in line with the County’s Zoning map in regard to Farmland Preservation lands.
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN, that immediately following the rezoning hearing, the Town of Oakfield Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on the consideration of a Special Use Permit (SUP) application submitted by Christopher and Peggy Schmehil requesting an extension of a previously approved SUP to build a residence in the Ledge Viewshed area at W8604 Breakneck Road located in the East ½ of the Northwest ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 33 Town 14 North, Range 16 East in the Town of Oakfield, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.
The Plan Commission hearings are open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend. Members of the Oakfield Town Board may be present.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that immediately following the hearings, the Town Board of the Town of Oakfield will meet for a special meeting to review the recommendation(s) of the Plan Commission and may act upon the above requests.
