Plan Commission Meeting & Town Board Public HEARING
August 28, 2024, 6:30 p.m., Town Hall in Oak Center
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 6:30pm at N3349 Oak Center Road, the Town Hall in Oak Center, the Plan Commission will meet to review and make a recommendation to the Town Board regarding amendments to the Zoning Ordinance.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that immediately following the Plan Commission meeting, the Town Board of the Town of Oakfield will conduct a public hearing on and consider and possibly act on the Plan Commission’s recommendation to adopt the amendments to the Town Zoning Ordinance.
The proposed amendments for the Zoning Ordinance concern the following:
- Storage of Materials and Equipment
- Storage of Recreational Equipment
- Multi-family Dwellings
- In-Law Units
- Storage Containers/Units
- Definition updates
- Permitted use updates in R-1 and R-2 districts
- Language clarification
The hearing is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.
