PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Oakfield,
Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, adopted the following Ordinances with a date of enactment of May 12, 2025.
- Ordinance No. 3 relating to Dumping of Garbage and Rubbish and Disposing Sewage in the Town of Oakfield has been repealed and recreated as “Town of Oakfield’s Waste Treatment, Disposal, and Storage Ordinance” (2025-01). The purpose of the ordinance is for the town to regulate by permit and penalty the construction, maintenance, operation, closure, and long-term care of certain waste treatment, disposal, and storage facilities or sites in the town.
- Ordinance No. 27 entitled, “Mandatory Recycling Ordinance” is repealed and replaced (2025-02). The purpose of the ordinance is to promote recycling, composting, and resource recovery through the administration of an effective recycling program, as provided in Wis. Stat. 287.11., and Chapter NR 544, Wis Administrative Code.
- Ordinance No. 26 entitled “An Ordinance for Operating Snowmobile Routes within the Town of Oakfield, Wisconsin” is repealed and recreated (2025-03). The purpose of this ordinance is to establish snowmobile routes in the Town and to regulate the operation of snowmobiles in the Town.
- Ordinance 2025-05 “Special or Seasonal Highway Weight Limits” Ordinance is created for the authority to impose special or seasonal highway weight limitations.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that these ordinances impose forfeitures for violations of their various provisions.
