SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at
6:30 p.m. at N3349 Oak Center Road, the Town Hall in Oak Center, the Town of Oakfield Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on the consideration of a Rezoning application submitted by Jeff Butzke of Compass Surveying for property owner Paul Schaefer, requesting to rezone from Farmland Preservation District to Single Family Residential without public sewer District a proposed 5.961 acre +/- lot at N4248 County Road D part of T15-14-16-12-13-004-00; a part of the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ Section 12 T14N R16E in the Town of Oakfield, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN, that immediately following the Schaefer rezoning hearing, the Plan Commission will conduct another public hearing on the consideration of a Rezoning application submitted by Jeff Butzke of Compass Surveying for property owners Thomas and Shirley Laning, requesting to rezone from Farmland Preservation District to Single Family Residential without public sewer District a proposed 2.838 acre +/- lot at W8329 Vielbig Road part of T15-14-16-03-02-002-00 & T15-14-16-03-05-002-00; a part of the fractional NE ¼ of the fractional NW ¼, Section 3 T14N R16E in the Town of Oakfield, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin
The hearings are open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend. Members of the Oakfield Town Board may be present at the Plan Commission Hearings.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that immediately following the hearings, the Town Board of the Town of Oakfield will meet for a special meeting to review the recommendations of the Plan Commission and may act upon the above requests. Additionally, the board will review and may act upon approval of a proposed new Certified Survey Map for Paul Schaefer and a proposed new Certified Survey map for Thomas & Shirley Laning at the locations mentioned above.
